PTFA and Family Involvement
At Ravensdale we have a friendly and active PTFA.
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) plays a vital role in supporting our school and creating a welcoming, vibrant community for students and families. Our mission is to enhance the educational experience, foster family involvement, and bring people together.
Here’s what the PTA does:
-
Organises Fun Events
The PTA plans exciting activities throughout the year, including school discos, bingo nights, and seasonal fairs. These events are a great way for families to connect and for students to enjoy memorable experiences. -
Fundraising for School Needs
Through events like fairs and other initiatives, the PTA raises funds to provide extra resources for classrooms, technology, field trips, and enrichment programs. -
Builds Community
By hosting social events and activities, the PTA helps create a strong sense of belonging among families, students, and staff. -
Supports Teachers and Students
We show appreciation for teachers and provide resources that enhance learning opportunities for every child. -
Encourages Volunteering
Whether it’s helping at a disco, running a stall at a fair, or assisting with bingo night, the PTA offers many ways for parents to get involved.
Joining the PTA is a wonderful way to make a difference, meet other families, and help create unforgettable experiences for our children. Together, we make our school community stronger! For more information, contact them on ptfa@ravensdalej.derby.sch.uk
